How to access the riad in the medina?

Riads are located in medinas, Morocco's historic old towns, where cars cannot circulate. Don't worry: all our partner riads offer a personalized meet & greet service to guide you from the medina entrance to your door.

Upon arrival, contact the riad by phone (contact details will be sent after booking). A staff member will come to meet you on foot at the agreed access point, usually a main square or gate of the medina. The walk takes between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the riad's location.

Some riads, like those in Marrakech, even offer porter service for your luggage, which greatly facilitates arrival. The staff knows the medina's maze perfectly and will guide you safely. If you book an airport transfer, the driver will drop you directly at the meeting point agreed with the riad.

Practical tip: plan for comfortable shoes and avoid rigid wheeled suitcases that aren't suited to cobbled streets. A backpack or soft suitcase will be much more practical for navigating the narrow medina alleys.
